Cub Foods is Hiring a Produce Stocker Near Buffalo, MN

This is position will require every 50% of weekend availability and some nights until 8pm.

All Full Time opportunities start at $15.00 per hour!!!

Below is the job description for the position you are applying for.

Summary:

This position provides stocking support for the produce department with an emphasis on meeting daily needs in product rotation, customer assistance and load receiving in order to ensure maximum department sales and product availability. Primary learning challenge is product location, product knowledge and receiving procedures. This position requires good judgement and decision making as well as social skills. Position functions and work hours may vary according to business needs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Performs stocking

-Ensures correct placement of stock

-Rotates stock for freshness

-Removes spoiled/damaged product form display

-Assists in mark downs of old product

-Straightens displays, builds displays

-Fills and maintains cooled display

Receives product and unloads trucks received

-Checks product received for correct type and amount

-Properly logs information and fills out invoices

-Checks product for freshness and damage

-Properly sorts stock and loads onto cart/pallet jack in stable manner and moves to proper area for stocking

-Stores over stock in proper location

Performs cleaning of sales floor/backroom/cooler

-Sweeps and mops, organizes backroom

-Cleans spills

-Properly disposes and separates cardboard and garbage

-Utilizes PPE as instructed

Assists customers with questions or requests

-Takes special orders

-Answers questions of product location/usage

-Refers customer to the proper area or individual for help

Performs cutting and wrapping and prepares greens

-Prepares pre-cut fruit display

-Trims and wraps vegetables

-Knows and follows crisping program for greens

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
